Sure Ilocos Sur!

Annually Kannawidan Ilocos  Festival is celebrated by the whole province of Ilocos Sur. This celebration helps to promote awareness to the culture , traditions and products of the province. It does not only encourage local tourist but also foreigners around the globe.

In connection of the said celebration there are also lot of activities regarding Kannawidan Ilocos Festival. This activity also commemorates the anniversary of Ilocos Sur as a province signed on February 2, 1818. Ilocanos will be as one to show unity in celebrating this festival.

Before the celebration starts they will first have a mass then after that will be having a procession along the streets of Vigan. A parade of costumes from different towns will showcase their indigenous costumes.The said affair will last from January 9 to February 17 ,2019.

There will also be presentions of product by each town of Ilocos Sur which will be showcase at the Kannawidan Trade fair. We can see here the product of vigan which is longganisa. The product of sinait which is bawang . The product of San Ildefonso which is basi and many more one town , one product.

The activites conducted by the goverment of Ilocos Sur will help in the promotion of the province not only locally but also globaly. Let us all join as we Ilocanos showcase the hidden beauty of our province. Mabuhay Ilocos Sur!

Great Changes Creates Better Chances

Many feel the task of positive change is impossible. However, I believe each and everyone of us can make a difference. And we can start at  this moment.

Changing the world begins with improving who we are now on the inside. We have a unique identity and own distinct thoughts . These thoughts propel us to act in a positive direction, we can improve our actions and thus our character.

I can improve the world by consciously looking ground and thinking  at every opportunity . The most powerful way isn’t simply by doing one thing but instead is a way of life. It begins with self improvements and concludes with making kind acts on instinctive part of my daily life.

All of us have room for improvements. We should learn how to open new doors and grab opportunities because they can only happen once. Let us learn to create big steps towards success of one’s self and one’s nation. For we always say that the success of one is the success of all. One for all and all for one.

New Doors for Improvements

We can call each day of our life a new chapter for us to start. A new door for improvement and  a blessing for us to thank God.

  Usually people tend to make new year's resolutions so that they can improve themselves by removing their bad attitude so that they can have a better way of living.

   Sometimes we make it a habit that we only make reflection and changes to ourselves during new year.  But we should also remember that everyday is a new day. A new day for us to improve and a new day for to live life the fullest.

   For me as a new chapter opens , it is also a time for me to change my bad attitudes and start improving myself. It might be on the physical aspect , social or spiritual. Because I wanted to show people that I could also make progress in my own simple ways.

   As a student I wanted to bring out the best of me in every discussion, projects and task given to me by our teacher. Because I know that through studying I can build a better future for myself and my family.

   Change is the only thing that can stays beyond forever. And I can see nothing bad in changing ourselves to be bettwr versions. But we should always bear in mind the change is GOOD as you change for the BETTER

Developing Mind with Passion and Excitement

Days of the months has passed and, the 3rd Grading Period is over. Upon finishing this quarter many things happened. It includes the proper time management in passing school requirements, projects and also the time of reviewing the different lessons in schools. Although the earlier weeks of this quarter had been busy for me, i was motivated to finished the task because holiday season is coming. It was also a challenging quarter for me because it tested my patience and determination in coming to school early as 6 in the morning due to the shifting of classes. The most exciting part of this quarter is the Christmas program. In this day we value and give importance to the birth of Jesus by sharing gifts, foods and message among us. We also gave appreciation to the people who made our entire year special, it can be our friends and our teachers. The quarter ended with smile among our faces because it is the time where we can have a break for all the  school requirements  and activities and have fun together with our family and relatives in celebrating the birth of Jesus. It was really a great quarter for me. 

The Magic of Christmas

One of the most awaited season of the year is Christmas. This is the season when all of us is to celebrate happiness, joy and be thankful for all the blessings and gifts that we are receiving.
This is also the time to commemorate the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. We should remember that without Him there is no Christmas. Remember that the love he gave to us is unconditional because he died on the cross because of love. So it is just right for us to celebrate Christmas even in our own simple way.
It is also because of Christmas that we are able to bond with our love one's. With our family, relatives and friends. There will be preparing and eating foods, playing of games, Christmas carols and the most exciting part is gift giving.
Some of us may celebrate Christmas away from their family because of work, education and other purposes but we should remember that you may be far away from your love one's but the most important thing is you are connected by each other's heart.
Christmas is joy but we should not forget that the true essence of Christmas is not about how expensive and big your gifts are, it is how you show love, care, and value your family. Let us live with the learning of the Lord. Christmas is love and Christmas is all about family.

Equality is the Key to Attain Unity Between You and Me

Human beings are born with different characteristics. But we should all bear in mind that all persons are equal. We may differ in size, height, skin, nationality and more but we are connected by our hearts. Each one of us deserve to be love and treated equally.
Nowadays, our society is being face with discrimination because of the lack of respect towards another. Some are being judge because of the things that he or she have done. Many people are also being so insensitive because they put other people down. Instead of saying word of encouragement they often say negative things around us. It is bad to be unfair to the people who is working hard. We all deserve equality and to have good opportunities that can help one's life.
A society that has good characteristics is a society that will succeed. Let us stop deceiving other people and discriminating them because it will not make you rich instead it will reflect on your attitude. Let us all solve the inequalities happening around our society.

To Teach the Children is to Touch their Lives

The youth plays a very important role in our society because they are the hope and future of the next generations. It is in their hands that we can assure and entrust things that may happen in the future. Without them there will be no sustainable development and progress in our country.

Children also has the voice to tell their opinions, thought, and suggestions in different things because they might be young as we see them we should not underestimate their capabilities as a youth instead we should nourish them and give what they need and let them to their rights.

It is timely that we talked about the youth because in this month we are celebrating the children's  month and in connection to this matter, we should know the the things that can contribute in achieving their own dreams, goals and desires in life. 

We said that children should be treats in a well mannered situation but what is happening now? Nowadays children is being face to different issues. It maybe on right issues, health issues and freedom issues. They are being destroyed and weakened  by the society.

In this case, parents are responsible in caring and teaching their own child. They have the power to tell what is right from wrong. Parents should also have moral and financial support to their child. They needed love, care and support from any person specially from their parents.It is really important that parents should provide the needs of their child. Like education, food, clothes and most specially love.
The youth gives a bright future for each and everyone of us. We should know how to value and protect them. The youth are the treasure and hope of one nation
